Lawyer (L), author, co-founder and chairman for RTC - Danmark (Repatriate the Children - Denmark). Known for his strong sense of justice, especially for those who cannot represent themselves.

Margrete Auken

Second chairman


Margrete is a politician from Socialistisk Folkeparti and has been a member of the European Parliament for The Greens/European Free Alliance since 2004. She has been particularly engaged in environmental policy and human rights. Margrete has repeatedly spoken on our behalf in the European Parliament.

Laura Christensen

Board member


At the age of 40, Laura will celebrate her 30th anniversary as an actress in 2024. In addition to her extensive career in acting, Laura is a dedicated advocate for human rights. She actively contributes as a board member of RTC - Denmark and serves as an ambassador for Save the Children.


Anders Berggreen

Board member


As a co-founder and CEO at byACRE, Anders is a passionate individual who, in addition to disrupting an industry, has been involved in numerous fundraising projects for the benefit of vulnerable people. 

Jonas Bengtson

Board member


In addition to his busy professional career as a management consultant at A.P. Møller - Mærsk, Jonas dedicates much of his time to volunteer work, including for RTC - Danmark. Jonas passion shines through everything he does. 

Maria Albrechtsen

Legal advicer 


Maria is a dedicated advocate for the rights of the Danish children currently in Syrian prison camps. She holds a master's degree from Aarhus University, where she wrote her thesis on the work of Repatriate the Children. Since joining the organization in March of 2024, Maria has played a large role in advancing numerous cases.

Elba Louise Schenk 

Secretariate


Elba is pursuing a bachelor's degree in sociology and has been working as a student assistant at RTC since 2024.

She has previously been a member of various student associations, has been the head of event organizing at a folk high school and been active in a youth political organization. 

Hugo Emil Arnoldus-Henningsen

Secretariate


Hugo is pursuing a bachelor's degree in sociology and has been working as a student assistant at RTC since 2024. During his studies, he has focused on issues such as inequality, discrimination, and humanitarian problems.

Johannes Pedersen

Honorary member


Since 2019, Johannes has been a loyal supporter and close friend of Repatriate the Children - Denmark. Johannes is a member of Bedsteforældre for Asyl and with the organization, he has helped organize both fundraisers and demonstrations in honor of the children in the Syrian prison camps.
