RTC - DENMARK IN BRUSSELS
RTC- Denmark has been in Brussels three times to present the case of the evacuation of Danish children from the Syrian detention camps to the European Parliaments Committee on Petitions.
In May 2023, we travelled to Brussels with the family of the seven-year-old Danish boy, who has not received an offer to come home to Denmark from the al-Roj detention camp with his mother. This resulted in a letter being sent to the Danish government from the committee, encouraging the Danish government to resolve this issue and evacuate the remaining Danish children in the camps.
In November 2023 and March 2024, we travelled to Brussels to once again ask the European Parliament to intervene in the case to ensure the repatriation of the seven-year-old Danish boy.

RTC'S NEW YEAR'S EVENT 2024
To kickstart the new year, RTC - Denmark held a new year's event in support of the Danish children in the Syrian detention camps.
We were joined by a long list of sharp experts in the field and inspiring musicians who all helped shine a light on the inhumane conditions that thousands of children grow up under in the detention camps.
The event was held at RessourceCenter Ydre Nørrebro.

PROTEST BY THE PARLIAMENT
In October 2020, RTC – Denmark participated in a protest in front of the parliament in Copenhagen. The protest was organized by Bedsteforældre for Asyl (Grandparents for Asylum), with whom RTC – Denmark works and collaborates with.
